Waiting for cymbals (Part 2)

Oh, no! Unfortunately, I've received bad news about my cymbals. It seems like the German shop where I've ordered my dear order is moving to a new place... And... As they say, I have to wait more than the expected.

Yeah, I just write "wait + more"!!!!!!!!! Perfect.......

29th June, Saint Peter

Today is 29th June, Saint Peter's day. If I am right today is my holy day.

When you grow up, days like today are each time less important. The best is that these days are less important for you and for the others, so no problem with that. Even so there are some people who congratulate you although they know today isn't an important day (thanks to those people). It's a nice feeling.

I think that I'm growing up.

Waiting for cymbals

Two weeks ago, I was sad. My drum kit, better said, my cymbals have a detestable sound. I was worried for the quality of the sound of the band. It was not good and that was not well because the sound was prejudicial. Fortunately I thought in a good friend who lent me his cymbal for the concert.


Last weekend, I saw a little rock band which I had seen before (I wrote about that some days ago). I looked to the drummer during some time and I thought that he played better than the last time. I realized that he had a lot of cymbals and he used them a lot (I realized I don't do that). Then I decided that it was the moment to spend some money.


Today, It has been ordered a new cymbals set. I know that they aren't the best cymbals, but I'm completely sure that they will be better than the mine ones. So I'm waiting for cymbals.

The start of the important rehearsals

This afternoon I've had to rehearse with my town's band. I've liked this rehearsal because a lot of people have assisted. When this happens, the conductor is happier and more perfectionist, then he works better. A full rehearsal room is a good reason to go to rehearse and everyone feel better with a lot of partners because you have the feeling that you are spending your time in something profitable. Besides, in the rehearsal there are some people with important music careers, professionals, with who you can realize that a better sounds are played. Personally, for me,  I think today is the start of the important rehearsals until the concert's day.

This is a song very exciting. I usually listen it when I feel tired because It gives you energy.

Procession

Today is Saint John's day. I, like a component of my town's band, have had to go to the procession celebrated in his honour. I didn't feel like going but it was a commitment. The members of the band aren't very motivated and a lot of people didn't assist because of this we didn't have a good appearance. The procession had a lot of stairs and slopes because the route where we walked was an old neighbourhood. The weather wasn't fortunately too hot and we are more comfortable than the last year.

But don't mind, it's the hard life of the musician.

Animals

Today I've composed a new instrumental song. I'm happy because of this. The song is called "Animals". It is about... Animals. It consist in five parts. The first is called "Lions are the kings" and is a quiet part. The second is called "Orange birds", this part is a bit faster than the previous. The next part's name is "When elephants come", it is a part very similar to the preceding but with a stronger melody. The fourth part is called "Bears can be fast", it is clearly faster than the others parts and it's my favourite. The last one part is called "When lions come back", and it's like the first part but a bit faster.
